About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our dynamic Facilities Management business based in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate leads and sales opportunities through industry research and client outreach
  • Respond to customer queries, book meetings, and provide quotes for preventative maintenance and FM services
  • Identify additional business opportunities through site visits and client interactions
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and communicate closely with clients to establish their service requirements
  • Conduct regular client reviews to determine performance and identify new business development opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust and establish a true partnership
  • Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to support business delivery
  • Lead by example and support direct reports in their roles
  • Identify and action potential cost-saving opportunities and provide supplementary reporting
Requirements
  • Experience in a B2B sales or business development role
  • Previous experience in the facilities management, property maintenance, construction, or similar sector
  • Technical understanding of the work carried out by the organization
  • IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Data management and analysis skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently to processes and procedures
  • Initiative and ability to work unsupervised
