Job Overview
St John Ambulance's Events Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Event Specialist to join its ranks. As an industry leader in event medical care, we provide staff at thousands of events across the UK each year.

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for planning and delivery of first aid and medical provision, contributing to event plans, assisting with resourcing and deployment, and supporting event logistics. This is a busy and varied position requiring unsociable hours, including weekends and travel across your region.

Benefits include a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, generous pension, hybrid flexible working, 33 days holiday (increasing to 38 days over 5 years), and various discounts and schemes.

This role requires experience in operations planning and delivery, computerized planning system use, and data input. You must be able to work independently and take responsibility for end-to-end event delivery. Your key responsibilities will include developing and managing event plans, leading on planning assigned events, ensuring safe patient care, and representing St John at external meetings. You will build relationships with customers, event organisers, and volunteers to ensure a high level of service.
