Job Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our community services team. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and families in our community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming referrals for community services, collecting relevant information and completing contact assessments.
  • Accurately record referrals on RIO and Adastra clinical platforms.
  • Ensure timely processing and signposting of referrals to appropriate services.
  • Provide excellent communication skills and answer telephone inquiries.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and attend mandatory training sessions.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer skills, including ECDL or willingness to undertake.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C and above.

Continuous Professional Development

Essential Criteria

  • Willingness to complete all statutory and mandatory training, including updates.
  • Willingness to undertake further personal and professional development.

Previous Experience

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of work within a health or social care setting.
  • Ability to share and teach knowledge and skills.
  • Experience of dealing with the public in a sensitive manner and awareness of diversity in the community.

Desirable Criteria

  • Good knowledge of the needs of vulnerable adults and their carers.
