Job Overview

Newpark Solutions, a leading manufacturer and supplier of parking Pay on Foot systems, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. With over 13 years of experience in the industry, the company has established itself as a pioneer in innovative parking solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for visiting customer car parks throughout the UK, primarily in the South/South West of England, to conduct servicing, PPMs, and repair works on the company's products and equipment. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of parking systems
  • Fault finding and servicing of equipment
  • Configuration and maintenance of computers, networks, and cloud-based solutions
  • Mobile and hard-wired data connectivity
  • General mechanical and electrical works
  • Participation in the weekend standby rota

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the field
  • A full clean driving license
  • Ability to complete documentation efficiently and on time
  • Flexibility to travel at short notice and occasionally work long, unsociable hours
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive approach
