We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at Innovate Recruitment Ltd. As a key player in the market, you will be responsible for developing safety strategies for powertrain systems, ensuring the functional safety of powertrain electronic controls in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Main point of contact with customers to help with the creation of Functional Safety Goals and to explain such ideas for the design team.
  • Create a production release report, safety case, development interface agreement, functional safety concept, and effect analysis on customer safety needs and goals in collaboration with the project team.
  • Share the technical status of the project both internally and internationally.
  • Create a Technical Safety Concept (TSC) in accordance with ISO 26262 based on the Functional Safety Goals of the customer.
  • Examine hardware, software, and system safety work products.
  • Conduct safety assessments and functional safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA).
  • Occasional travel and flexible work schedules.
