This is a Community based role, requiring a full UK driving license and access to your own car. You will be working with a double up partner to ensure safe use of moving and handling equipment.
As a Community Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. Our ideal candidate will have experience of care work and be able to provide personal care, prepare meals, assist with eating and drinking, carry out shopping requirements, and possibly provide palliative and end of life care. You will also be supporting service users and their families while ensuring the care plan is always followed and reporting any changes as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing person-centred care to service users
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking
- Carrying out shopping requirements
- Possibly providing palliative and end of life care
- SUPPORTING SERVICE USERS AND THEIR FAMILIES
Requirements:
- Experience of care work
- Full UK driving license and access to own car
