About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Hospital Manager to lead our team at Aberavon Hospital. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring that all aspects of care meet the highest standards.
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Manage the hospital's budget and resources, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all staff members are up-to-date with mandatory training and are aware of their responsibilities and duties.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, HIW inspectors, and local service commissioners.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Hospital Manager or in a similar role.
  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Excellent understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to care services in Wales.
  • Ability to actively market and promote the service in a positive personal and professional profile within the community.
  • Experience of improving HIW ratings and working towards Outstanding.
