Grounds Person Vacancy

Sportsfields is seeking a skilled and experienced Grounds Person to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Grounds Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the stadium pitch is prepared to a high standard. This includes tasks such as pedestrian mowing, line marking, repairing any damage, and all other aspects of pitch maintenance and preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the stadium pitch to a high standard
  • Perform tasks such as pedestrian mowing, line marking, and repairing any damage
  • Collaborate with the grounds maintenance team
  • Attend regular meetings with the Head Groundsman and Deputy

About You:

We are looking for someone with previous experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance, who has a good understanding of health & safety legislation and safeguarding. Good communication skills and the ability to work using your own initiative are also essential.
