Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife to join our team as a Band 5 student midwife. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and providing total midwifery care to mothers and babies throughout normal pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period without direct supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and be able to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to develop their skills and expertise in midwifery.
Main Duties
- Assess and provide total midwifery care to mothers and babies throughout normal pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families and other healthcare professionals
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave and opportunities for professional development.
