Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Essex and Kent

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours)

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 per annum

This is an office, and hybrid based role. The main office base will be Romford in Essex, or Dartford in Kent.

Duties:
  1. Lead building safety across sites
  2. Ensure that planned and preventative maintenance is carried out
  3. Engage with internal staff and external contractors to ensure roles are performed in accordance with Fire Regulations.
  4. Manage FRA – Fire Risk Assessments through to completion
  5. Ensure all contractors and staff work in accordance with rules and regulations
  6. Manage cleaning staff, and contract servicing; PAT testing, fire checks
  7. Deal with mould and damp complaints
Benefits:

Requirements:
  1. NEBOSH certification is essential
  2. Fire Safety qualification is desirable
  3. Experience in managing fire safety and FRA – Fire Risk Assessments is desirable
  4. Previous experience managing a small team is essential
  5. Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  6. PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  7. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
