About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a member of our close-knit team, you will work collaboratively with experienced educators to create a supportive and enriching learning environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and providing emotional and physical support to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the educational and personal development of pupils with complex SEMH needs
  • Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities
  • Provide emotional and physical support to pupils
  • Work collaboratively with experienced educators to create a supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Maths & English GCSE desirable
  • Previous experience in a school setting
