Financial Planning Specialist - AFH Wealth Management

At AFH Wealth Management, we're seeking a skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. As a self-employed or employed advisor, you'll be part of a progressive and client-focused, financial planning-led wealth management firm.

In this role, you'll work closely with clients to understand their current and future financial goals and develop tailored financial strategies to achieve financial independence.

This position offers flexible working arrangements, with the option to work from home or office locations. You'll be expected to attend face-to-face client meetings and build strong relationships with clients and introducers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, utilizing the Six-Stage Advice Process to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing client needs and financial circumstances, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and introducers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal business planning, referrals, and company lead generation programs.
  • Optimize marketing efforts, leveraging social media and networking to develop new business relationships.
  • Maintain strong client and introducer relationships through regular meetings, seminars, and continuous feedback.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, analyzing information, conducting research, and preparing customized financial planning reports.
  • Provide accurate management information as requested.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA-approved equivalent) and CF30 status in accordance with FCA regulations.
  • Clear demonstration of a client-centric approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business development and effective business planning.
