About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £42,503 per annum, making it an attractive opportunity for skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs, ensuring timely and effective identification and recording of their care requirements.
  2. Develop and implement tailored childcare plans and interventions to address specific needs, working closely with families and other agencies.
  3. Manage a workload of child care cases under the guidance of the Team Manager/Deputy Team Manager, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  4. Collaborate effectively with other services and agencies to provide holistic support to children and families, sharing information and coordinating care planning.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of family support plans and children in care plans, adhering to statutory time scales and reviewing progress regularly.
  6. Stay informed about policy developments, legislation, and best practices in social care, upholding a high standard of customer care as an ambassador for the Council.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A social work qualification or equivalent.
  2. Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
