Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage flood risk and drainage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement integrated flood risk and drainage solutions, incorporating state-of-the-art design and technology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hydraulic modellers, engineers, and environmental consultants, to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
- Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
- Proven experience in flood risk and drainage project management, with a strong understanding of relevant guidance and regulations.
- Excellent technical skills, including experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Security Clearance to minimum SC level (or be suitable and willing to apply for clearance).
