About the Role

As an Administrative Coordinator within our Advocacy Services Department, you will be responsible for overseeing our Advocacy Diary through regular engagement and liaison with advocate colleagues.

Your core task will be to assist with the day-to-day management of the Court Advocacy Diary, ensuring our people attend all Court Hearings on time. This involves inputting and updating diary entries, chasing clients and advocates for late responses, and assisting the Advocate Manager in collating data.

You will also provide administrative and clerical support to the team, attending to incoming calls and emails, checking files, and uploading case papers onto our web-based systems.

This role requires strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial due to the nature of the job, and the candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, this role also requires the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Excellent IT skills are essential, including Microsoft 365 Office and other relevant software.

The salary for this position is £23,000, rising to £23,800 upon completion of probation, which is approximately 3 months long. Holidays include 20 days plus all Bank Holidays, pro-rata.
