We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our North Bucks Older Adult Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the North Bucks Older Adult Community Mental Health Team
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Supervise and support junior staff members to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of our mental health services and ensure they are aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Higher specialist training in old age psychiatry or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
