About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Adult Eating Disorder Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with eating disorders and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric care to adults with eating disorders
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses
  • Prescribe and manage medication
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Specialist registration or within six months of attaining Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
  • Experience working with individuals with eating disorders
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in eating disorder psychiatry
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
