About the Role

Johnson Controls International is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation of HVAC systems, including split, multi-split, VRV / VRF, and DX systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission HVAC equipment and pipework on customer sites, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company and legal requirements.
  • Support various projects, working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide guidance and assistance to meet their expectations.
  • Attend client sites, carrying out installations and commissioning of air-conditioning units and commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the VRF Installation Team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and legal requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and adhere to Health & Safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full installation of HVAC systems, including pipework, bracketry, and cabling.
  • F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification.
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, and Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale.
  • Experience and knowledge with DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, and ventilation plant.
  • Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to understand and analyze relevant technical documents, such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, and piping diagrams.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • IT skills, including the ability to record details in the LD-Control platform (iPad).
  • Self-motivated and a committed can-do attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ level 3 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
  • CSCS Skillcard.
  • IPAF 3A & 3B.
  • SSSTS card.
  • PASMA Card.
