Job Description
As a Student Behaviour Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage positively with their education and develop essential social skills. Your responsibilities will include implementing behaviour management plans, working closely with the pastoral team, and assisting teachers in developing a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need CACHE Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance or specific training in behaviour management. Previous experience in a similar role or with behavioural management techniques is highly desirable. You must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with diverse needs.
