Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Location: South Leeds
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at a large primary school in South Leeds. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing provision and practice in supporting pupils with additional SEND needs, including those with complex medical conditions and speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment
- Developing specific lesson plans to accommodate all students
- Monitoring student development and creating plans to support progress
- Working closely with other staff to ensure the facilitation of learning
Requirements:
- Experience of working with pupils with complex SEND needs
- Ability to develop and implement effective behaviour support strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
