About the Role

Red Bull Powertrains is seeking a highly skilled Trackside Power Unit Systems Engineer to join our expanding Power Unit engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and performance optimisation of power unit systems for Red Bull Powertrains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support during Formula One race events and testing sessions.
  • Analyse power unit telemetry data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for optimisation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of power unit system operations, reliability, and performance data.
  • Collaborate with the design and development team to contribute to the ongoing improvement of power unit systems.
  • Work closely with various departments within the Formula One team to ensure the seamless integration of power unit systems with overall vehicle performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in motorsports, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of power unit systems used in Formula One racing.
  • Experience working in a trackside support role for a Formula One team or in a similar motorsport environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and telemetry systems used in motorsports.
  • Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and energy management principles.
