About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stocktaking and Audit Professional to join our team at Venners Limited.

Job Description

As a Hospitality Stocktaking and Audit Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of stock levels and providing valuable insights to our clients. You will be responsible for conducting stocktakes, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to improve stock control and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular stocktakes at various hospitality venues, including pubs, hotels, and restaurants
  • Collect and analyze stock data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to site managers on stock control and management
  • Develop and implement effective stock management strategies to improve business performance
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, providing excellent customer service

Requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics
  • Basic IT knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Trade knowledge, including Food and Beverage
  • U.K. driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • A Level English and Mathematics
  • Level 2 or higher Health and Safety
  • Level 2 or higher Food Safety
  • Hospitality management experience, including Assistant Manager or above
  • Previous stocktaking experience
  • Previous use of EPOS systems, such as Zonal, Forth, or Micros
  • Access to your own vehicle
