**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Sustainability Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our urban mobility planning group, you will play a vital role in shaping sustainable transportation solutions for major cities across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in transport planning, with a proven track record of leading project teams and individuals. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept to delivery, collaborating closely with clients, and ensuring that projects meet their sustainable transport needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work directly with clients to achieve their sustainable transport goals.
  • Act as Project Manager on a range of projects, including active travel schemes, urban space development, and public transport initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of transport planners and graduates, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and review reports, drawings, schedules, and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance.
  • Be responsible for the financial performance of projects.

**Requirements:**

  • Civil engineering or transport planning degree or equivalent.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional body, such as CIHT or ICE.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage project teams and individuals.
  • Significant transport, road safety, or highway engineering experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with public sector officials, members of the public, and other senior colleagues.

**Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
