Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team at the Old White Horse in Baldock. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and leading our front of house team to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the front of house team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience
  • Take responsibility for managing customer interactions, including taking orders, handling payments, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality food offerings
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the front of house area
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and stock management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front of house or supervisory role in a hospitality or customer-facing environment
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu management and inventory control
