About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Experience Advisor to join our team at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. As a key member of our Patient Experience Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer care and support to patients, carers, and stakeholders, responding to their concerns and complaints in a sensitive and confidential manner.
  • Work closely with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team to manage and resolve complaints, ensuring that all contacts and outcomes are recorded and learning points are recognized and shared.
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure timely and high-quality responses to patient inquiries and complaints, including the compilation of documents and drafting of letters.
  • Provide support with reporting of patient experience information and data analysis of themes and trends relating to surveys and complaints.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient experience, ensuring that they meet the needs of patients and services.
  • Provide general administration and project support for the Patient Experience Team, including data entry, report writing, and development of processes.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 4 or equivalent Diploma in administration or IT subject or experience which demonstrates this.
  • Previous secretarial or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication, sensitive and accurate listening, and note-taking.
  • Accurate keyboard skills and ability to communicate through IT using packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
