About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Resident Service Engineer to join our team in Nottinghamshire, working on a customer site in the Newark/Grantham area. As a Resident Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks on site within a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, service, and repair forklift trucks on site within a workshop environment
  • Find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Work with a range of equipment, including small pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification (ideally)
  • IT literacy and ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a positive attitude
