Job Title: Companion Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Companion Caregiver to provide support and companionship to our 78-year-old mother-in-law who has dementia.

The ideal candidate should be physically fit, upbeat, and friendly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of the home
  • Driving to Chichester every 2 weeks so she can have lunch with her old friends
  • Accompanying her to GP appointments, sewing classes, Pilates sessions, and other activities
  • Assisting with gardening tasks as she loves spending time outdoors

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to assist with light cleaning and gardening tasks
  • Upbeat and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to drive and transport our mother-in-law safely
  • DBS check required
  • Minimum 2 professional referees available for contact

Compensation: £18-£20 gross per hour

Holiday: Statutory paid holiday

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm
