About the Role

As a Commercial Underwriter at RSA, you will play a key role in driving profitable growth from our broker panel. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with selected brokers to identify, discuss, and negotiate new and existing business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply underwriting, relationship management, and business development techniques to optimize profitable growth from our broker panel.
  • Work with brokers to identify and discuss new and existing business opportunities, and make effective underwriting decisions.
  • Handle cases ranging from £10,000 to £100,000 premium.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in Commercial Underwriting, either from an insurance company background or a broking background. We will consider applications from candidates with insurance experience in other lines of business or from similar backgrounds such as claims or customer service.
