Position: Class Teacher (SEMH school)
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time, permanent position
Salary Details: £35,000 per annum
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to join our team at Chesham House school in Bury, Greater Manchester. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to our students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching small groups of students within the classroom.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the students' needs.
- Support other staff members to deliver high-quality education consistently.
- Develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of learners.
- Work closely with SEND teaching assistants to define appropriate activities for the learners in relation to the curriculum.
- Manage behaviour of learners.

Chesham House School is an independent specialist provision which provides high-quality, personalised education for young people aged 10 to 18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and who are at significant risk.
