About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team at Chesham House School. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches that are appropriate to students' needs to motivate them.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Experience of teaching students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
