Player Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Player Protection Officer to join our Risk & Compliance team at Buzz Bingo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in protecting our players and business from known and evolving risks.
Key Responsibilities- Assess player risk in line with our policy and procedures to ensure safe and responsible gambling practices.
- Conduct forensic profiling of customer accounts and open-source footprints to identify potential risks.
- Engage in compassionate and meaningful interactions with customers to understand their circumstances and make informed decisions.
- Implement Enhanced Due Diligence procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide a seamless and safe gambling environment for our customers.
- Previous experience in online player protection within a regulated environment, preferably in iGaming, Bingo, Casino, or Finance.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including the Act, POCA, TACT, and LCCP.
- Ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
- A competitive salary between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
