Hardware Engineering Professional

Role Description:
">- We're looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team at OpenSourced.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement designs for electrical and electronics hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans for electronics hardware.
- Work closely with contract manufacturers to ensure PCB assembly meets quality standards.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports to track progress and make informed decisions.
- Analyze data to optimize product performance and develop innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a secure work environment.
- Contribute to the development of QA systems and quality policies.
- Support the Engineering Manager in various tasks and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of electrical and electronics hardware design fundamentals.
- Expertise in soldering and reworking PCBs, including LSI and fine-pitch components.
- Able to create prototypes for testing purposes.
- Familiarity with production environment best practices, including ESD safety procedures.
Compensation Package: £45,000 per year, based on your skills and experience.
