About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at French Selection UK. As a German speaking sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and merchants across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize business growth and revenue
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts, identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Investigate and pursue new business opportunities in the region, working closely with the sales team and other stakeholders
  • Self-manage daily activities and appointments, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness, staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
  • Promote products and services through exhibitions, seminars, and other marketing initiatives
  • Act as a technical expert, providing support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Travel extensively across Europe, attending trade shows and meetings as required
  • Train and educate sales staff at distribution outlets, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed
  • Collaborate with head office, catalogue managers, and marketing managers to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Update and provide new point-of-sale materials, ensuring they are accurate and effective
  • Educate clients and building specifiers about products, highlighting their features and benefits
Requirements
  • Fluent in German to business level (written and spoken)
  • Additional fluency in French and/or Dutch is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record in sales and account management, with a strong understanding of technical products and their applications
  • Customer-focused attitude and great personality, with a willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reporting to the Divisional Director, providing regular intelligence reports and updates
  • Drive and enthusiasm to succeed, with a strong desire to grow and develop within the company
