Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

French Selection UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and merchants across Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and maximize revenue.
  2. Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the region, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  4. Self-manage daily activities and appointments, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  5. Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activity, providing regular intelligence reports to the Divisional Director.
  6. Promote products and attend trade shows and exhibitions, building relationships with customers and industry partners.
  7. Act as the technical expert for customer queries, providing solutions and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Train sales staff at distribution outlets and maintain their stock, ensuring seamless customer service.
  9. Collaborate with head office, catalogue managers, and marketing managers to develop and implement sales strategies.
  10. Update or provide new point-of-sale materials, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all channels.
  11. Educate clients and building specifiers about products, highlighting their features and benefits.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Fluent in German to business level (written and spoken), with additional fluency in French an advantage.
  2. Proven track record in sales and account management, with a strong understanding of technical products and their applications.
  3. Customer-focused attitude and great personality, with a willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry partners.
  5. Drive and enthusiasm to succeed, with a passion for sales and business development.
