About the Role

MFS Investment Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our global research team as a Structured Products Research Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing investment recommendations within securitized products for fixed income portfolios managed by MFS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research to develop investment recommendations for fixed income portfolios, utilizing a range of research sources including company literature, third-party systems, and internal models.
  • Structure, develop, and communicate investment recommendations to stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in creditworthiness and bond valuations.
  • Maintain and develop analytic models to support investment decisions, with a focus on European securitized markets, including Asset Backed Securities (ABS), Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS), and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
  • Act as the in-house expert for designated areas of concentration, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Masters of Business Administration and/or CFA charterholder preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an investor in the European securitized market.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Intex, and Bloomberg.
  • Ability to work independently, using research, analysis, and communication skills to drive investment decisions.
  • Experience working in a diverse and collaborative team environment.
