Job Description

Role Overview

The Fixed Income Analyst will be responsible for researching and selecting new Corporate Credit ideas, as well as presenting analysis to the Fixed Income committee at JJ SEARCH LIMITED.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and select new Corporate Credit ideas
  • Present analysis to the Fixed Income committee
  • Produce monthly performance reports for the team
  • Maintain research screens and ensure they are up to date
  • Keep good relationships with key internal stakeholders responsible for client portfolios
  • Produce research notes to support Fixed Income investment ideas
  • Support the investment process and recommend improvements where necessary
  • Ensure all processes, analysis, spreadsheets, and models are up to date and stored in line with JJ SEARCH LIMITED's policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Fixed income Analysis / Credit Research
  • IMC and/or CFA would be advantageous (CFA Level 1 minimum)
  • Some experience doing either credit research or portfolio management
  • Prior experience of using Bloomberg and its excel functionality
  • Competent user of MS Excel and the remainder of the MS Office Package
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, specifically in the context of Fixed Income research and/or portfolio management
