The Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a skilled ICT Asset Manager to join their Digital Transformation & Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization.

The ICT Asset Manager will develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles. This includes formulating and implementing processes, procedures, and systems for tracking and analysing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through to retirement/disposal.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a matrix environment and manage a small team. They will also be responsible for managing acquisition of assets from planning through deployment, verifying, entering, and adjusting equipment IT asset management data in a variety of forms, schedules, and reports.

The ICT Asset Manager will also be responsible for tracking entire life-cycle management for each asset to maintain warranty information, refresh date, and end of life data information. They will develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes to support the asset management lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT asset management systems and processes, with the ability to identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate associated risks to asset management system compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and implement processes, procedures, and systems for tracking and analysing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through to retirement/disposal.
  2. Account for the IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization and affiliated companies.
  3. Manage acquisition of assets from planning through deployment.
  4. Verify, enter, and adjust equipment IT asset management data in a variety of forms, schedules, and reports.
  5. Track entire life-cycle management for each asset to maintain warranty information, refresh date, and end of life data information.
  6. Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes to support the asset management lifecycle.
  7. Conduct annual inventory audit and develop process and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  8. Responsible for the wellbeing and development of a small team undertaking service management across the product line, working in a matrix environment with other managers/team leaders ensuring device availability, asset lifecycle KPIs performance, and developing process maturity.
  9. Manage and maintain the service compliance of IT asset management systems and processes in line with audit requirements for this product line.
  10. Identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate associated risks to asset management system compliance.
