About the Role:

Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its Financial Crime team in London. As a Financial Crime Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with internal policies, local regulatory obligations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advisory Services: Provide expert opinions and assessments on higher-risk credit requests, transactions, and clients from a financial crime perspective.
  • Enhanced Due Diligence: Conduct thorough investigations on high-risk clients to ensure their suitability for banking services.
  • Live Payments: Act as an escalation point and 2LoD reviewer for payments filtering and customer screening alerts, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Contribute to and deliver management information to senior management and London committees, providing insights into financial crime trends and risk exposure.
  • Projects and Initiatives: Assist in and lead on local and group projects across multiple work streams, representing the Financial Crime team in working groups and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and delivery of local training initiatives, enhancing the skills and knowledge of colleagues across the bank.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide financial crime subject matter expert guidance and support to stakeholders across the London branch and globally, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial crime risk management.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform ad-hoc tasks and contribute to the overall success of the Financial Crime team, as required.
