Senior Accountant - Audit Expert

Norton McMullen LLP is a leading full-service CPA firm located in Markham, Ontario, with over 55 years of experience in providing audit, tax, and advisory services to private businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounting, with a minimum of 35 years of experience in a public accounting firm, including audit experience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • CPA designation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
  • Team-oriented and client-focused thinking
  • Honesty, integrity, promptness, and ethical behavior

The salary expectation for this position is $85,000 - $120,000, with overtime commensurate with experience and reviewed annually based on performance. The company offers a group benefits package, RSP plan with company matching, and inclusion in the Firm's annual bonus plan.
