Teaching Assistant Opportunity in a Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Oxford. The successful candidate will be working in a Year 6 class, providing support to students and teachers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support, including assisting with lessons and activities
  • Work one-to-one with students, providing additional support and guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in class

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a Primary School or with school-aged children
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is essential
