As a key member of the Discover team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our services. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving inefficiencies, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and design new system features and infrastructure components to improve performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline system management and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system improvements.
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance engineering, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
