About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our Dispute Resolution & Governance Team's Governance section. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and representation to local authorities in all areas of commercial law, including contracts, company/charity law, procurement, and subsidy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing clear and comprehensive professional legal advice to clients and negotiating with other professionals
  2. Advising on complex matters, including high-value project work, and managing a portfolio of varied matters

You will have the opportunity to work on large-scale sustainability projects, construction projects, and support the local environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Strong expertise in commercial law, particularly in contracts, company/charity law, procurement, and subsidy
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to manage a diverse portfolio of matters
