About the Role:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a part-time KS2 Primary Teacher to cover a Year 4 class for the remainder of the academic year at a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging KS2 lessons, implementing effective behaviour management strategies, and collaborating with the Classroom TA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students in Year 4
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Attend weekly staff meetings to contribute to school development

Requirements:

  • Must hold UK-recognised QTS
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Able to work effectively with children and colleagues
  • Possess a positive and ambitious approach to teaching
  • Commitment to upholding and contributing to the school's ethos
