Maintenance Technician

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our client's automated machinery and robotics in Kidderminster. With a strong focus on breakdown elimination and preventative maintenance, this position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development.
We are looking for an experienced electrical maintenance professional who can provide expert guidance on health & safety standards and safe systems of work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in problem-solving, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and production improvement activities across various automated systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults on multiple types of machinery.
- Gaining experience with a range of machinery, including robotics.
- Working collaboratively within a 12-man maintenance team to enhance operations and equipment efficiency.
Essential Requirements:
- A relevant apprenticeship and qualifications in electrical engineering.
- Prior experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with machine tools and their applications.
- Experience with risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Proven problem-solving skills in breakdown maintenance.
