Job Description

As a key member of our Acquisition Finance & Advisory team at Crédit Agricole CIB, you will play a vital role in originating and executing financial advisory mandates for corporate clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our clients achieve their strategic objectives through tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Acquisition Finance
    • Marketing & Structuring
      • Develop and present Acquisition Finance & Advisory pitch books for corporate clients in collaboration with other business lines.
      • Conduct financial modeling, including cash flow analysis and financial projections.
      • Propose financing structures, including tranching, pricing, and main covenants.
      • Participate in client meetings with Senior Bankers and other relevant colleagues.
    • Transaction Management & Execution
      • Prepare business opportunity memoranda (BOM) for submission to General Management.
      • Develop transaction requests, including risk analysis, peer analysis, transaction structure, and transaction profitability.
      • Coordinate the credit process, liaising with RPC, CPM/ALM, and Coverage teams.
      • Prepare syndication materials, including information memoranda and bank presentations.
      • Review and produce loan documentation, including term sheets, mandate letters, and facility agreements.
      • Adhere to established AFA procedures and relevant CLF procedures.
  • Rating & Capital Advisory
    • Support RCA Senior Advisors in originating and executing financial advisory mandates.
    • Conduct analysis of companies' business models, capital structures, and financial policies.
    • Position and benchmark companies within their peer group within the industry or close industries.
    • Assess credit risk based on Rating Agencies' methodologies.
    • Develop financial models and measure the impact of alterations to business perimeter, capital structure, funding, etc.
    • Determine and optimize debt capacity given rating constraints/targets and propose actions to meet companies' objectives in terms of cost of capital/financial policy.
    • Pitch and execute Rating Advisory missions to obtain inaugural ratings or optimize existing ratings and improve companies' access to DCM/debt capacity.
