We are seeking an experienced Automotive Cluster Engineer to join our team at Expleo Engineering UK Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays and Displays to meet Design and Test standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays and Displays to meet Design and Test standards
  • Maintenance of part BOM across European vehicles
  • Preparation of functional specifications
  • Review and approval of part drawings submitted by suppliers
  • Resolution of technical issues with test departments and suppliers
  • Conduct of vehicle life cycle cost reduction idea generation and implementation
  • Leadership of vehicle life cycle warranty investigations

Required background for the position includes:

  • Degree educated in a relevant subject matter
  • Experience in the development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays or Displays within the automotive industry
  • Familiarity with electrical theory related to parts and connected circuits
  • Understanding of software development and validation methods
  • Experience of electrical architecture
  • Knowledge of LIN or CAN tools
