Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at YTL Construction UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the financial and commercial management of our design and build schemes, ensuring that we achieve best value for the company while maintaining commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce a profiled forecast for the scope of work in conjunction with the programme team.
  • Provide commercial support to the commercial and programme management teams.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments, including workstream partners, suppliers, and clients.
  • Manage the workload and have functional line management responsibilities for Apprentices, Assistant Quantity Surveyors, and Quantity Surveyors.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or extensive equivalent working experience.
  • Contract management experience, especially in the NEC3/4 suite of documents.
  • Experience in the financial management of design and build contracts with values in excess of £10m.
  • Skills in change management, risk management, tender negotiation, cost auditing, and final account agreement and settlement.
