Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at YTL Construction UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the financial and commercial management of our design and build schemes, ensuring that we achieve best value for our company while maintaining commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce a profiled forecast for the scope of work in conjunction with the programme team.
  • Provide commercial support to the commercial and programme management teams to achieve best value for the company.
  • Liaise with internal departments, workstream partners, approved suppliers, and client organisations to ensure compliance with corporate governance.
  • Manage the workload and have functional line management responsibilities for Apprentices, Assistant Quantity Surveyors, and Quantity Surveyors.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or extensive equivalent working experience.
  • Contract management experience, especially in the NEC3/4 suite of documents.
  • Experience in the financial management of design and build contracts with values in excess of £10m.
  • Working knowledge of civil engineering or utilities background, with a preference for networks and treatment experience in the water sector.
