M&E Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to oversee the supply chain operation for our established and highly successful niche sector client. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical infrastructure and electrical principles, with a relevant qualification (HND or above) in electrical engineering or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and attend site surveys at both tender and project delivery stages.
  • Assist in evaluating M&E supplier proposals and generating proposals for M&E requirements.
  • Produce technical and delivery requirements for supplier quotations and conduct evaluations.
  • Attend design meetings and provide support to the Site Supervisor in site progress meetings.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and completion of the M&E sub-contract works.
  • Manage supplier progress and performance, ensuring alignment with project plans.
  • Manage the production of designs, including equipment locations, installation designs, and equipment designs.
  • Manage M&E FAT's and review all relevant documentation.
  • Manage the co-ordination of designers and installers.
  • Review site test documentation and RAMS.
  • Manage site supervisors for M&E works and all aspects of installation handover.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years previous experience in a similar role.
  • SSTS and CSCS qualified.
  • Familiar with electrical infrastructure and electrical principles normally associated with projects in transportation, power, or comparable sizable projects from other sectors.
  • Good level of IT proficiency (Excel and Word mandatory).
