Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced journalist to join our UK News Team as a Digital News Reporter. This role involves researching and breaking news to large digital audiences, working at the forefront of Sky UK's UK and world news operation.

You will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate news content to our digital platforms, developing and maintaining knowledge of current events and issues relevant to the UK audience.

About the Job:

  • Deliver news content to our digital platforms, including video, audio and written articles.
  • Conduct research and interviews to gather information for news stories.
  • Write and edit news articles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in finding and writing compelling stories for digital news platforms.
  • Experience in handling breaking news scenarios and high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent understanding of media law and ethics.
